Venture Housing
The Territory Government has established an affordable housing rental company that will provide Territorians with properties to rent at below market rates. The company, Venture Housing, will provide rental properties for low to moderate income earners in the Territory who are having difficulties affording market rental prices, although they may not necessarily qualify for public housing.

NT Council Elections 2012
Shire and municipal councils hold elections every four years to appoint the council members for the next term. The next NT Council Elections will be held on 24 March 2012. Find out more information about voting.

16 May 2012  | RSPCA Million Paws Walk 2012
The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is on this Sunday 20 May at the Jingili Waters Gardens from 8am. This is Darwin's premiere pet event where you and your friends can mingle, chat and celebrate your love of animals! Funds raised through walk registrations and online fundraising goes towards supporting the RSPCA and their battle to stop animal cruelty. You can register on the day or via the RSPCA website.
