2010 Alice Springs Business Survey
The 2010 Alice Springs Business Survey is a joint initiative of the local Economic Development Committee and the Territory Government to provide Alice Springs businesses and investors with up-to-date and detailed information on the local economy.
From 15 February to 26 February survey representatives will be visiting 500 Alice Springs businesses to seek their participation.
The 2010 survey will be similar to the business survey held in 2007, with the inclusion of a workforce component in order to ascertain where skill and labour shortages are occurring and to gather further data on local Indigenous employment.
Data collected in the survey will be used, in conjunction with information obtained from other sources such as the Australian Bureau of Statistics, to formulate an updated Alice Springs Economic Profile.
Alice Springs businesses are encouraged to have their say and take part in the business survey.
